Afus, a shopkeeper's tool for shopkeepers
Afus was born behind a counter, not in an office.
Why Afus exists
Mohamed Brahimi runs a phone accessories shop in Casablanca: cases, chargers, cables, earphones, screen protectors. Hundreds of small items, customers who sometimes pay later, suppliers to keep track of, and days when everything happens at the till.
The solutions he found were too complicated, designed for other countries, or unable to keep selling when the internet went down. So he built the tool his shop needed: a fast checkout on PC and phone, stock that is always right, customer credit tracked just like in the credit notebook, and clear figures to know what the shop really earns.
Afus is designed and tested in that shop. Every feature answers a real situation at the counter.
Why "Afus"?
"Afus" means "the hand" in Amazigh: the tool you keep at hand all day long. The studio that designs Afus is called Tisnel, a name drawn from "tussna", "knowledge" in Amazigh.
